"Chile experts identify Trinidad Moruga Scorpion as world's hottest."

In this article, a golf ball size pepper officially becomes the hottest chili pepper in the world according to Guinness World Records. There are many competitors to the hottest chili pepper but this one, Trinidad Moruga Scorpion discovered by New Mexico's State University Chili Pepper Institute is the one!! They say the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion is "sweat-inducing, tear-generating, mouth-on-fire"!! When collecting the peppers workers said they went trough so many gloves because of the heat generated off of the pepper onto their hands. Capsaicin is the heat sensation that the pepper gives off, this went through the latex gloves and workers constantly had to keep changing their gloves! They say the pepper adapts to the environment. The more extreme heat, and less water made this plant so intense! Awesome!  wc=129
