"Redheads feel more pain than people with dark hair."

In this article, study shows that redheads genetically feel more pain than black and brown hair individuals. A test where redheaded people over the age of thirty took a shock to their thigh to compare the pain tolerance. "They were then tested to see if they felt more pain than a control group who had black or brown hair." They say red hair has something to deal with the production of the natural chemicals and endorphins in the body that are linked to the feeling of pain. Researchers in 2009 studied that, redheads have a higher percentage of avoiding medical treatments due to anxiety like an annual dental visit. Interesting! wc=110
